The way you prepare your food can be done through several methods. Of course, the food that you serve should be cooked in a way your consumers would want it or depending on the meal that you are going to prepare. You can bake food, steam it, or grill it – everything actually depends on your cooking preference and the food choices of the people that you are going to serve the meal to. Cooking food through baking is done in an oven. Typically, the temperature of the oven ranges from 300 to 450 Fahrenheit. Cakes, pastries, or anything prepared with a batter is usually cooked through the oven. However, there are some meals which can also be baked such as casseroles, few fruits and vegetables, and some meats. Baking needs to be practiced well in order to perfect your food. Cooking food through roasting is done through uncovered hot air. Usually, this type of cooking is done on meats to make it more tender and juicy. However the results are not the same as cooking food through roasting because everything is done in an uncovered manner.

Cooking food through the application of direct heat is called grilling or broiling. Under a continuous flow of heat, the food is being cooked and tenderized.
